« OLYMPISME ET PHILOJEUNES » PROJECT AT THE INTERANATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL OF NOISY-LE-GRAND
“Olympisme et Philojeunes” is a project organized by Jean-Marc SERFATY IA-IPR EPS of the Board of Education of Créteil, a project serving strong ambitions for a better “living together”. The meeting, the inclusion, sharing, effort, persistence, difference, empathy, ethics… when the stadium becomes the heart of the world where everyone breathes on the rhythm of exploits and when those words get their full meaning, here is what remained at the heart of the project on the 2nd of February 2018 at the International Middle School of Noisy-le-Grand.
The students attended to the screening of the movie “La couleur de la victoire” co-produced by Luc Dayan, which contributes to better interpret yesterday’s and today’s stakes regarding “living together” through Jesse Owens’ formidable adventure, four-time Olympic Champion at Berlin in 1936.
With Marie-José PEREC (link to the association’s page), sponsor of the Association 733, ambassadress of the Organization Committee of the Olympic Games, and three-time Olympic Champion in athletics on the 400m at the 1992 Barcelona OG, on the 200m and 400m during the 1996 Atlanta OG, democratic and philosophical workshops took place around themes related to the values of the Olympics, relying on Jesse Owens’ journey. Marie BARSACQ of COJO’s Olympic Heritage department, Gilles NEUVIALE, Academic Director Deputy, and Stéphane TROUSSEL, President of the Regional Counsel of the 93, were also there this day with Jean-Marc SERFATY.
